Where Do I Return My Product?

Return locations, notice requirements, and delivery details explained

Last Updated: January 2026

If you are returning an item yourself, it is important to send it to the correct location, at the correct time, and with the right notice given in advance. Failing to do so can delay your refund or result in the return being refused.

This article explains where returns must be sent, why advance notice is required, and what to consider when arranging delivery back to Land of Beds.

Where Do I Need to Return My Product To?

All customer-arranged returns must be sent back to the Land of Beds warehouse in Wigan.

Return address:
Land of Beds
82–84 Ellesmere Road
Wigan
Greater Manchester
WN5 9LD

Items must be returned to this address within 14 days of receipt, where applicable.

Why You Must Notify Land of Beds Before Returning an Item

Before sending anything back, you must notify the Land of Beds customer care team that you intend to return an item.

This is important because:

  • Returns must be expected by the warehouse
  • Delivery slots need to be pre-booked
  • Unnotified returns may be refused on arrival

If a return arrives without prior notification, the warehouse may not be able to accept it.

Warehouse Opening Hours for Returns

Returns can only be received by the warehouse during the following times:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 9:00am to 5:00pm

Returns must be pre-booked with the warehouse and cannot be accepted outside of these hours.

Arranging Delivery Back to the Warehouse

When arranging your return delivery, you are responsible for choosing a suitable courier.

For larger or heavier items, such as beds or mattresses, Land of Beds recommends using a two-person delivery service to reduce the risk of damage during transit.

Why Insurance Is Strongly Recommended

All returned items must reach the warehouse in suitable condition.

Land of Beds strongly recommends taking out insurance when arranging your return, as:

  • Damage during transit can affect your refund
  • Items returned damaged may be refused
  • Deductions may apply if items are not returned in suitable condition

The condition of the item on arrival plays a key role in the refund outcome.

Can Land of Beds Collect the Item Instead?

If you’re unable to return the item yourself, you can find out whether we’re able to help by collecting your item for you

Collection charges:

  • Small items, such as bedding: from £20
  • Large or bulky items, such as mattresses: from £95

Collection costs vary by product and postcode and are deducted from your refund.

Common Questions About Returning Items to the Warehouse

Can I turn up without booking a return?

No. All returns must be notified and pre-booked with the warehouse.

What happens if my item arrives outside warehouse hours?

Returns outside the accepted times may be refused.

What if my item is damaged during return delivery?

Damage in transit can lead to deductions or refusal of the return.

When Things Can Vary

Return requirements can vary depending on:

  • The type of item being returned
  • Whether you arrange delivery or request collection
  • The condition the item arrives in

If you are unsure about how to return your item correctly, it is best to check before arranging delivery.
