Where Can I Find the Batch or Manufacturing Label?

Find out where to locate the batch or manufacturing label on your product.

Last Updated: March 2026

When you submit a warranty or guarantee claim, we may ask for a clear photo of the batch or manufacturing label. This helps us identify the product correctly and review your claim more accurately.

This guide explains why the label matters, where it may be found, and what to check if you cannot see it straight away.

Why do you need the batch or manufacturing label?

The batch or manufacturing label helps us confirm important product information linked to your claim.

This can help us identify the exact item, check manufacturing details, and make sure your claim is reviewed against the correct product.

That is why we ask for a clear photo of the label as part of the warranty request process.

Where is the label usually found?

The location of the label can vary depending on the brand and type of product.

In some cases, the label may be attached to the outside of the product. In others, it may be placed inside a cover or in a less obvious position.

Because label placement is not always the same, it is worth checking the product carefully before assuming it is missing.

Is the outer cover label always the right one?

Not always. Some products may have more than one label, and the one we need is not always the label attached to the outer cover.

For some brands, the batch or manufacturing label may be located inside the product cover rather than on the outside.

If you are unsure which label is needed, try to provide the clearest label showing the manufacturing or batch details.

Why can label location vary by brand?

Different brands place their labels in different positions.

For example, some brands place the label inside the foam or within the zip cover rather than on the outer label. This means it can sometimes take a little extra checking to find the correct one.

If your product has a zipped cover, it may be worth carefully checking inside to see whether the manufacturing label is located there.

What should the photo show?

To help us review your claim as quickly as possible, the label photo should be:

  • clear and in focus

  • close enough to read

  • well lit

  • showing the full label where possible

If there are several labels, it can help to photograph the one that contains the most manufacturing or batch information.

What if I cannot find the label?

If you cannot find the label straight away, check the product carefully, including any covers or zipped sections where relevant.

If you still cannot locate it, you can continue gathering the rest of your claim information and provide as much detail as possible in the form.
