Assembly and installation services can help make setting up your new bed easier, but it’s important to understand exactly what’s included before delivery day.

This guide explains what is and isn’t included in Land of Beds assembly and installation services, based on the information available on our website.
If you’re deciding whether to add assembly to your order, this article should help set clear expectations.

What Is Included in Assembly & Installation

Assembly and installation services are available on selected products only and must be added at checkout where offered.

Where assembly or installation has been added to your order, the delivery team will:

  • Assemble the eligible product listed on your order
  • Carry out assembly on the day of delivery
  • Assemble the product in the room where it is delivered, where access allows
  • Follow the manufacturer’s standard assembly instructions

Assembly is currently offered for:

  • Divan beds
  • Electric / adjustable beds

Only the products listed on your order with assembly selected will be assembled.

What Is Not Included in Assembly & Installation

To avoid confusion, there are some things that are not included as part of assembly or installation services.

The delivery team will not:

  • Assemble products that were not booked with assembly
  • Assemble bed frames or other products where assembly isn’t offered
  • Move or dismantle existing furniture
  • Prepare the room or clear space for assembly
  • Carry out electrical or structural work
  • Remove existing beds or mattresses unless removal has been added
  • Guarantee packaging removal as part of assembly

If a service isn’t listed on your order, it won’t be carried out on the day.

Packaging and Waste

Packaging removal is not included as standard with assembly or installation.

In some cases, you may be able to request packaging removal when arranging delivery, but this is subject to availability and isn’t guaranteed. Any packaging removal arrangements will be confirmed separately.

What You Need to Prepare

Before delivery and assembly, you’ll need to make sure:

  • There is clear access to the delivery and assembly room
  • The area is clear and ready for assembly
  • Someone is present to accept delivery and oversee assembly

Is assembly included in the price of my bed?
No. Assembly is an optional service and must be added where available.

Can I ask the delivery team to assemble something extra?
No. The team can only assemble the products listed on your order.

Does installation include connecting electrics?
Installation applies to eligible electric or adjustable beds and follows the product’s standard setup requirements only.

What if assembly can’t be completed on the day?
If assembly can’t be completed due to access or preparation issues, customer care can advise on next steps.

Will packaging be removed?
Packaging removal isn’t included as standard.

Will old furniture be moved?
No. Existing furniture needs to be cleared in advance.

Will assembly include wall fixing?
No. Wall fixing isn’t included.
