Silentnight mattresses are made in the UK and designed to deliver long-lasting comfort and support. Proper care helps maintain performance and ensures your 5 year manufacturer’s guarantee remains valid.

5 Year Silentnight Guarantee

Silentnight mattresses and divan sets are covered by a 5 year manufacturer’s guarantee.

How the Guarantee Works

Year 1: Repair or replacement (at Silentnight’s discretion) free of charge for defective materials or workmanship.
Year 2: Replacement free of charge, but transport costs apply.
Years 2–3: 40% of current retail price plus transport costs.
Years 3–4: 60% of current retail price plus transport costs.
Years 4–5: 80% of current retail price plus transport costs.

Claims must be made through the retailer where the bed was purchased and proof of purchase is required.

Important Warranty Conditions

To maintain your guarantee:

Turn or rotate your mattress as instructed.
Use a suitable base.
Use a mattress protector from day one.
Follow all washing instructions on product labels.

The guarantee may be void in cases of misuse, including:

Jumping on the bed.
Rolling or bending the mattress.
Using an old or unsuitable base.
Overloading drawers.
Removing fire safety labels.

Silentnight cannot accept returned items that are soiled or unhygienic.

Turning & Rotating Instructions

Unless your mattress is labelled ‘No Turn’, it should be:

Turned and rotated once a week for the first two to three months.
Turned and rotated monthly thereafter.

No Turn Mattresses

If your mattress is marked ‘No Turn’:

Do not flip it.
Rotate top-to-tail periodically to ensure even wear.

We recommend assistance when turning or rotating your mattress to avoid damage.

Foam Mattress Guidance

Rolled Silentnight Mattresses

If you have purchased a rolled Silentnight mattress:

Unroll it and place it on a bed in a warm room.
Allow 24 hours for full foam recovery before use.

The mattress cover should not be removed and is not machine washable.

Softening & Adjustment

Foam mattresses may feel different to traditional spring mattresses. Slight softening during the first few weeks is normal.

Foam Discolouration

Yellowing of foam over time is normal and does not affect performance.

Protecting & Cleaning Your Mattress

Always use a mattress protector.
Do not use detergents or chemical cleaners.
Treat spills immediately with a damp cloth.
Air your mattress daily by pulling bedding back.

Modern fillings are softer and more sumptuous than older designs, so visible settlement is expected.

Air daily.
Use a suitable base.

Silentnight mattresses should only be used on a base for which they were designed.

Using an old or unsuitable base may result in:

Mini drawers: maximum 7kg

Adjustable Bases

Operate using the “hold-to-run” control.
Keep children and pets clear while adjusting.
Do not operate without the mattress guard in place.

Ottoman Storage

Cutting the strap will cause the lid to open immediately.
Maximum loading weight: 40kg evenly distributed.
Never allow children or pets inside the ottoman base.
Always stand clear when opening or closing.
