Unpacking & Initial Expansion

Most Breasley mattresses are delivered vacuum-packed and rolled for convenience.

When your mattress arrives:

Carefully cut away the outer packaging, take care not to cut the mattress fabric.
Place the mattress on your chosen base.
Allow at least 2 hours before you sleep on it.
Over the next 24–48 hours, the mattress will continue to expand and recover to its intended comfort and height.

A slight new mattress smell may be present initially; this is normal and will dissipate quickly in a well-ventilated room.

Rotation & Turning Guidance

Proper rotation helps promote even wear and maintain comfort over time.

Most Breasley mattresses are single-sided, so they should not be flipped.
Instead, rotate the mattress 180° from head to foot every 3 months to encourage even settlement and longevity.

Even for non-turn mattresses, rotation is still recommended to distribute wear evenly.

Cleaning & Maintenance
